Dec 27th, my family got in our 2001 Honda Oddysey & started our trip to Kissimmee, FL. After a few stops with some really wonderful people, we finally arrived to our new home about 5 p.m. on Dec 30, 2011. Yup, we made it.
The kids started school right away on Jan 3rd and life has continued without a hitch.
In all of this time I cannot say I have had any epiphany at all about God, life, or purpose, but I can say the Lord has been refreshing me in some really simple ways. Working from home can get a little old or boring... but answering the phones really helps me stay connected and even if the responsibilities get to be a lot, I can get up take a breather with a good look the 2 Palm trees in my front lawn.
The weather has been remarkable. Apparently, it's like this during this time of year... 70 degree winters are something I have gotten used to very quickly...
Except for the day it was 40 and I left my coat at home, well, because I live in FL now... We almost froze our pet-oo-ties off AT THE OUTLETS... where there is no shelter until you get into a store... Hmmm, we're the ONLY morons who are walking around with out jackets, hats or scarves... IT WAS COLD!!!
Anyway, I think I'm just rambling, but I just wanted to get started again with writing... I want to be purposeful & the Word of says: make it plain and write it down... Well, here it is...
